Sometimes, we are taking our cars for granted. We always use it but we over use it. Cars are like us, if we work really really hard and have no time to rest, we would probably be tired and eventually one of our systems may drop. Cars will be damaged once they are used roughly and not regularly maintained. Even the smallest detail of a car is important because if one part doesn’t work, the whole system of the car will compensate for it and work harder then eventually it will become damaged. Taking care of your car is really important so either the exterior or the interior part of the vehicle should be maintained. Cleaning your car is one way of taking care of the vehicle. Some people doesn’t have time to clean there vehicle for some reasons. They will only clean it once they feel like it. This is not advisable. Try to let your car be cleaned at least once a week depending on the number of times you use it and where you brought your car. Cleaning the car is usually taken for granted. So to start off in cleaning your vehicle, you should have the proper equipments and the proper supplies to have your car be cleaned by yourself. So the basic things you need in cleaning your car is a finish-safe wheel cleaner, a liquid car wash detergent, a soft brush, a hose, and car wash mitts or soft all cotton towels.

Of course don’t forget the water. The first thing you need to do is to rinse the vehicle from top to bottom. Also, include the wheels and inside the fenders. Take note that it is important to always clean the tires and wheels before washing the body. Try not to use the same mitt for both. This is for the purpose of avoiding contamination of the vehicle’s paint with debris from the wheels and tires. It is also advisable to use a good tire cleaner with a stiff brush to have a clean new look in your tires. The next thing you should do is to clean the wheels with a wheel cleaner that removes the brake dust, which are the once that often blackens the front wheels. This should be done in whatever car you have. Even though it’s a regular car, a sports car, or even a luxury car, proper cleaning should be practiced. Now for the body of your car, choose the right car wash cleaner for your car. Never ever use household cleaners as it could strip the wax from the paint and damage the finish of the car. Rinse thoroughly and start at the top and let the water cascade down the surfaces of the vehicle. Following these basic tips should help you have a clean appearance of your car.

We know today that our economic downturn is really affecting us in many different ways. This includes affecting our budget and so many people sacrifice just to have their needs met. There is also an interesting survey that through the economic crisis we are facing, people are not only affected financially but also it affects them emotionally.

People are changing their way of thinking because of the pressure and stress they constantly encounter. They now spend less time in their personal relationships and their relationship to their vehicles. Yes you heard it right, relationships to their vehicles. The people are affected with the crisis and all they think is the way to keep up with the crisis so they tend to take for granted their vehicle and does not maintain it any longer. They no longer exert any degree of effort to have their car regularly checked and maintained.

Here are some ways to keep your relationship with your vehicles and make sure that they are not taken for granted. As we know, cars also make our life enjoyable. Cars make our life easier and most people love all about them. But there comes a time that people will forget and take their cars for granted because of factors like career, family and even vices are getting in the way.

So to make your relationship with your car even stronger, find some time to perform maintenance on your vehicle. Try to run your vehicle to a neighborhood car wash at least once a week to remove dirt and stains that may later on get clogged into your car’s nooks and cranny’s that might cause the increase of your cars’ deterioration. You might not know it but dust, debris, salt and sludge may accumulate on the outside of your vehicle throughout the year. Taking your car in a car wash will help protect its paint and keeps your vehicle shiny and clean. Even the smallest things that you do to your vehicle will make a big difference.

It is also important for you to check your vehicles tire air pressure for each season. Make sure that you inspect it properly and check for any signs of deterioration and cracks. This process of checking is not only performed for your car’s maintenance it is actually performed in order to keep you safe when you drive your car, some accidents happen on the road because of deteriorated tires.

Finally, you have to always check your engine. The heart and brain of your car is the engine that is why you have to constantly maintain it in order for your car to be at its peak performance whenever you take it for a short or even a long drive. In order to properly maintain your car’s engine you have to regularly check the oil and the cylinders. Every part of your engine must always be cleaned this is to maintain the optimum performance of your car. If you don’t have any car you can rent a similarly well-maintained sports car at Easysportscarhire.

You probably know almost all of the parts and how they work this with the previous articles. All of the parts of a vehicle are very important for the car to perform better and unlock its full potential. Understanding every bit of details in your car makes you feel more confident while driving. You won’t be that worried because if something happens to your car, you could easily figure out the problem right away and troubleshoot it if you really know that that is the problem. All you have to do now is to keep the car safe and well maintained. If you understand the parts of your car and how it works, you should keep it in its best performance always. Keeping it in best performance will likely drive your car with ease and less worries.

During this time of crisis, we may be hard up in maintaining our own car and will likely result into added expenses in our budget. So how do you maintain your car with the least possible amount that you could spend in maintaining your car? It is good to invest in keeping your vehicle in good shape by a specialist or a technician who specialise in the parts of your car. This will save you money because having cars checked by the specialist will enable your car to last in the road for a long time. It is also important to find technicians that are well known and most trusted technicians there is in the market today.

After being your car maintained by a technician, you are now responsible in keeping it in its best shape. Here are some advice and tips on how you could maintain your car to keep it running longer, safer and more cost effective. Your driving attitude does matter and makes a big difference. So if you are an aggressive driver, you better change it. Why is it? Because aggressive driving wastes gas and can reduce gas mileage by 33 percent on the highway and 5 percent in the city. It is important for you to avoid quick starts or stops or the so called “jack rabbit stop”. Follow the traffic rules and observe posted speed limits as the gas mileage will decrease rapidly above 60 mph. It is also wise to plan your route in advance and combine as many errands as possible to minimize time while driving and on the road. While taking on a long journey, we should take the full advantage of your vehicle’s cruise control feature. The cruise control function at highway speed offers an average fuel economy savings of 7 percent.

Another way to save on your long trips is to hire a vehicle. Hiring a vehicle in going in a long trip is really an advantage.

Maintaining your vehicle is one of most important thing to do when you own one. Regardless of its model whether it be a sports car or a luxury car, or even a motorcycles or trucks, you should keep them well maintained. How do you keep your car well maintained? Well for the first timers on this, make sure that your vehicle’s brakes are working properly. Make sure that you have the right brakes and the right brake fluids for your vehicle. This will enable you to be more safe and secure.

As we know, brakes are one of the most important and essential part of a vehicle. Without the brakes, our vehicles wouldn’t stop moving. The brakes will also prevent you from accidents. The brake replacement work can be done just about anywhere. You should only need the proper knowledge and skill to work on it. You should be reminded that installing aftermarket brake components not tested and designed for a particular vehicle may damage other parts of the braking system and would probably cause other problems. Think about this, if one of your parts is damaged or broken in your system, the other parts linked with it should work harder to make up for that deficiency. One of the least expensive part of a braking system that you could replace or repair is the brake pad. Even the brake pads are very important. Imagine that the brake pad is damaged; you would notice that you will be hard up in driving because it made the system work harder. If you do not replace it or repair it on time, you could be facing much more expensive repairs with your car.

You could also let your car be check by a specialist for a second opinion on your brakes. How will you know if you really need to replace or repair your brakes before letting it be checked by your technician? First of all, let us remind you that there are no specific visual characteristics to determine if a car’s brakes are not working or is in bad condition without taking your vehicle on the road.

Because of the advanced technology today, some vehicles are now equipped with a warning indicator if there is something wrong with the brakes of the vehicles. This device is very helpful because it will give you a chirping noise during braking application and will let you know if the brake pad is getting low so that it can be replaced.

Actually, you wouldn’t worry if your car is rented. Your car is in perfect shape with us here at Easy Sports Car Hire. Our cars are like brand new and are in its top performance. The brakes and other safety devices are well maintained for you to give you a more comfortable and worry-free driving with you and your family. Easy Sports Car Hire is the best in your car renting needs. You could also get some tips and advises for your vehicles everyday here at our blog section.

In our last article, we’ve talked about the brake system and how it works. The brake system is undoubtedly one of the important systems in a vehicle. There is no one who would disagree that the brake system is the one of the more essential systems for the safety of the driver and the passengers. Most of the drivers even professional drivers has no idea yet on haw the brake system works or how their vehicles stop. It is important to know what is the function of the brake have an idea how our cars slowly stop and prevent accidents. For the vehicle to stop, there are three specific principles that are involved. The friction, leverage and the hydraulics must all work in tandem to create the stopping power needed for a passenger vehicle. When you understand the brake system you could now understand better what brake boosters are. In order for you to find out where the brake booster is located, you could determine it by looking for a round canister mounted on a firewall at the back of the engine on the right driver’s side under the hood.

Now that most of the vehicles today have disc brakes, this is accompanied by the power brakes which is an important part where it assists’ in multiplying the power exerted by the driver’s leg or foot. The force applied by the driver’s foot to the brake pedal is multiplied in the power booster. This multiplies the power of the force by simply using a vacuum created by the engine. Now if you have your own car or borrowed it from someone, it is usually best to check properly and determine if the brake booster is functioning properly. So to determine if it is properly functioning here are some tips you could do, first is to turn off first the engines’ car, press and release the brake several times to assure there is no vacuum remaining in the booster. By using a fairly firm foot, hold down the brake pedal and then turn on the engine. To determine if it is functioning properly, you should feel a slight give underfoot as the engine turns over. Since these parts of a car are one of the important parts of a vehicle, you should not interfere in installing or repairing manually this kind of systems. Consult a specialist whenever there are problems with your brake or the brake booster. Manually repairing it without the proper knowledge and skill will give you a big trouble and might cause an accident so be careful and don’t let anyone except a specialist check or repair your car. At Easy Sports & Luxury Car Hire, we offer you cars that are in their top performance and you don’t need to worry about the brake system and the brake booster of our cars. Our cars are properly maintained and are carefully checked every time it is used. We make sure that our cars maintain the same function as if it were brand new.

Every car is different so every part is also different. Cars are very unique depending on their company that makes them. Each has original features that you won’t find in a any other cars so it is really good if you researched the cars features before buying or renting one of these hire cars.

If you are really in to cars, and can’t get enough of them, you should know every basic parts and principles on how they work. Last week we talked about some articles about your brakes and the braking system. Face it, you have no idea on how these brakes work but now you know. Every part is complex and some are simple but knowing your car is really and advantage for you to use the full potential of your car.

Today, we are going to give you some information about your car’s fuel pump. Bet you don’t really don’t give importance of this part. So basically all our car even cars here at easy sports car hire have this basic and essential part of a vehicle. Cars need to have fuel to be pumped from the fuel tank to the carburetor.

There are different kinds of fuel pumps for different cars and each differs in their use. These fuel pumps are mechanical and electrical fuel pumps. Today, most mechanical fuel pumps are quickly dieing out and they are not that used anymore. The fuel pump system operates by the engine’s camshaft having an extra eccentric lobe that operates a lever on the pump. In this pump, it also has a flexible diaphragm that encloses a certain volume of fuel on one side.
This is the basic concept on how the fuel pumps work and is very common in older cars and vehicles. With the advanced technology today, this kind of old fashioned pump is being replaced by new and improved electric fuel pumps. Things became more electric as engines moved away from carburetors and towards fuel injection. This kind of system was improved because the fuel injection systems operate more efficiently at a higher fuel pressure than mechanical pumps generate.

If you are trying to locate the fuel pump, you will generally see them in most cars’ fuel tank in order to use the fuel in the tank to cool the pump and ensure a steady supply of fuel. The pump will create a positive pressure in the fuel lines in which it will help push the gasoline to the engine.

It is important that we know the basics of a car. Without the proper knowledge of the cars, we are not able to use and understand the full features of it and think that all cars and vehicles are the same regarding their fuel pumps.
At Easy Sports & prestige Car hire, we give you cars that have advanced features and have the new electric fuel pump to stay long on the road. All our cars are at its best performance and are well maintained to keep the driver and the passengers safe while enjoying your trip.

Last article we talked about the Anti Locking Braking System or the ABS which is of course useful for the first time drivers and professional drivers’ alike. This helps the vehicle from locking during braking. What we are going to know today is about the brake system and how does it work. For us to know our vehicles better, we should also know some of the basic parts of a vehicle in order for us to use it efficiently and safely. The brakes are a very important part of a vehicle whether it be an old or a new car, it is totally indispensable. This is of course to be able to stop your vehicle whenever you wanted to. And of course, as we all know, when we push down the brakes, it slows the vehicle until it stops.

So to describe it more clearly, the brake system is rather very simple. Using your foot, place it on the brake pedal and apply pressure thus, applying pressure and transmit force from your foot to its brakes through a fluid or a brake fluid that is. However, as the brakes actually require a much greater force than what you can apply with your leg. With this situations, the vehicles have different and methods in multiplying the force of your foot through; mechanical advantage and hydraulic force multiplication.Friction has an important role regarding brakes. The brakes will transmit the force of the tires by using the friction and then the tires also transmit the force to the road using friction. So basically, that is the common principle of how a brake works in your vehicle.

Did you know that there are different kinds of brakes? Each vehicle is designed to a certain kind of brakes. Of course it has the same principle but it also has different kinds on how iit works in different vehicles. These types of brakes are disc brakes, drum brakes, hydraulic breaks, and regenerative brakes that are used in hybrid vehicles.

For the disc brakes, this is for the slowing or even stopping the rotation of a wheel. A brake disc or what is commonly known as a rotor is made up of cast iron or ceramic and it is basically connected to the wheel or the axle. In order for the wheel to stop turning, a friction material in a form of a brake pad is forced mechanically or hydraulically against both sides of the disc. The friction will cause the attached wheel to slow down or even stop the vehicle from moving.

The drum brakes on the other hand produces friction caused by a set of shoes or pads that will press against the inner surface of a rotating drum. The drum I by the way connected to a rotating wheel. The hydraulic brakes however is an arrangement of braking system which uses hydraulic fluid, normally some type of light viscosity petroleum oil that will in turn transfer pressure from the controlling unit. A regenerative brake is an a system or device which allows a vehicle to store part of the kinetic energy that would be lost to heat when braking. At Easy Sports Car Hire, whichever brake system is used in our cars, we are sure that the brake system is in perfect condition because we cautiously and critically double check the vehicles performance and it parts.

Drivers should always be cautious whenever they drive especially on the highway or in heavy traffic. The cars should also be in good condition and there are no damages that can harm the driver and the passengers. Novice drivers or first time drivers are very careful and sometimes nervous on what to do especially when they haven’t experience some troubles happening in their car. Most of the novice drivers will most likely panic whenever they don’t know what to do if ever something unusual happens to their car. The worst thing that could happen to them is to lose their brakes or to stop in the middle of the traffic.

Car companies had made their car very sensitive and user friendly so that novice and as well as professional drivers would be safe in anything that will happen to the car and the passengers. Thus, many cars now have integrated some advanced technology like the GPS and the so called ABS or the Anti Lock Braking System. The ABS is a system on most vehicles wherein it prevents the wheels from locking while you are braking. Why do we need this you ask? This keeps your vehicle safe and secure which has two advantages that will surely give a big help to the drivers. First thing that the ABS can do is to maintain steering control under heavy braking and in most situations, it shortems the braking distance.
So what is really the big difference between the vehicles with ABS and the normal vehicles? If you have a vehicle that has no Anti Locking Brake System, you can manually pump the brakes to prevent the wheels from locking up. So in vehicles with anti locking brake system, the driver’s foot needs to remain firmly on the brake pedal which will allow the system to automatically pump the brakes. This is very helpful especially the inexperienced driver so that the brakes won’t lock up whenever they are braking.

So how does this anti locking braking system work? Basically, the ABS is composed of a central electronic unit which has four speed sensors. These sensors are assigned for each wheel. The ABS also has a two or more hydraulic valves on the brake circuit. These elements are very important to make the ABS more effective and efficient. What it will basically do is to that when it sensed any number of wheels that are rotating slower than the others, which will bring it to lock, it will move the valves to decrease the pressure on the braking circuit. With this process, the vehicle will in turn reduce the braking force on that wheel and it will cause a pulsing feeling through the brake pedal.

Maintaining the safety of our customers is our priority that is why we have cars that has these technologies in order for you to drive safely and have a peace of mind. Our sports car hire vehicles like the Porsche has an ABS that will surely make you happy. Here at Easy Sports Car Hire, we give you the best cars with the best technology which will help you in your driving needs.

A car has different accessories and devices that help the car to be more comfortable and more secure while on the road. Having these devices is very helpful especially for the new drivers out there who just recently had their license and take their new car on the road. These devices include the GPS which stands for “Global Positioning System.”

The GPS is a revolutionary Global Navigation Satellite System that uses a number of satellites to send transmission data from earth, to the satellite and back to earth again. These devices are very popular now especially in cars. These kinds of devices are usually seen on luxury cars, sports cars and some 4X4 vehicles. The GPS requires the use of a receiver that enables the system to find out such elements like the location, time, direction, and speed.

GPS in vehicles are very popular right now as they are found in most luxury cars nowadays. You might wonder where the GPS was first introduced. Actually the United States Department of Defense designed and developed the GPS system. These devices are intended for military purposes but they have found out that having a GPS is a very helpful navigational tool that is conductive for everyday life. You might find it surprising because it was integrated into luxury vehicles right now. These GPS devices are originally called Navstar but people call them simply as Global Positioning System or GPS.
